that "debut single of 16 year-old girl from across the world" didn't just outsell Katy, but Miley, Gaga, Selena, Demi, Rihanna and soon to be P!nk as well. your argument would've worked had it been that Roar sold 500k in total and Royals sold 600k, but that isn't the case is it? Both are humongous hits, both are still doing great, both are showcasing what true longevity is.
