They pick on Taylor's writing because she's the biggest star in the world and the biggest drawBecause it's the only thing they can use to get attention to their websites. She's not a trainwreck like other stars, she doesn't go out clubbing or doing drugs, she doesn't say insane/racist things, she isn't rude to her fans or the paparazzi, basically she doesn't give the media anything to work with to tear her down, so they are forced to resort to making up stories about how she's a clingy/needy person because they have nothing else to work with to draw clicks.
