Oh please PRISM is discounted, which is why it rose, and Dark Horse is just a freaking beast, like it's been in the top 30 since it was released as a promo single. If Capitol/Katy really used payola, Uncle would have gone top 10. So no, my fave doesn't use iTunes payola

You can easily tell which artists are using payola based on the jumps in AI they receive. 2-3 million AI increase per day is normal. 5 million AI increase per day is not. If that's your fave, then sorry.

There's a theory out there that says that all songs played on the radio in America are paid for. It's supported by the idea that there's corruption caused by consolidation of the media. Clear Channel is the largest radio broadcasting company in the United States. I think it's very possible.
