The thing with Meh is that she's just boring. She has all the personality of a wet dish cloth when she's not trying to shoehorn some "shady" ATRL-level comment about some poor defenseless artist.
Madonna may be a harpy old bitch, but at least she's remembered for it. Everyone knows AIWFC, but who remembers Mariah the artist? Nobody.
Jennifer Lawrence has been voted the Top Money-Making Star of 2013 in a poll of cinema owners and film buyers.
The poll asks industry experts to choose the stars they believe actively draw audiences to the cinema. Fellow Oscar-winner and Gravity star Sandra Bullock came second.
The 2013 poll, conducted annually by the Quigley Publishing Company since 1932, is the first one in 82 years to feature women taking the top two spots.
23-year old Jennifer, who last year won the Best Actress Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook, stars in the hugely profitable Hunger Games trilogy (the third instalment of which is due out in 2015) as well as the critically acclaimed American Hustle, where she plays opposite former flame Bradley Cooper and The Dark Knight’s Christian Bale.
The rest of the list consists of the crème de la crème of Hollywood men – including Bradley Cooper at number 3 - bar the number 10 spot, which went to Bullock’s The Heat co-star, comedian Melissa McCarthy.
The industry experts were also asked to choose their Stars of Tomorrow for 2013, a list of actors they believe will go on to feature in the Top Money-Maker poll. Man of Steel’s Amy Adams and Spring Breakers’ James Franco were voted number one female and number one male respectively.
Last year J-Law took the number one spot in Quigley’s Star of Tomorrow 2012 poll, making it the first time an actor has gone from one poll to the top of the other in its entire history
What about the sales? Has Wrestling Ball surpassed BR's sales yet?
Has Applause? I know it will soon; her fans went on for months and months about how her upcoming lead single would easily open with 700k in the US. It shouldn't be far behind now.
