I think I read that the line about someone selling her out was about Tommy but ... 'I miss you little sis and little brother' - who is she addressing and what happened?

"Valentine" is Tommy whom she genuinely loved but could no longer be stifled "I tried so hard but I had to leave to preserve my sanity.. had to breakaway... fly (reference to butterfly and going off on her own to find freedom) "Little Sis" and "Little Brother" are his children whom she was very close with despite the rocky marriage and she is apologizing for having to leave them ("a boy and girl befriended me we bonded through despondency i stayed so long but finally I fled to save my sanity"). "Dandelion" is her sister Alison (a flower whom she once loved starting to change and scatter in the wind - in the world of drugs and prostitution) and her desire for them to reconcile although she doubts this will happen. She dedicates a chorus to each of them, the first being to her sister, the second being to Tommy's children and the final to Tommy himself.
the song is very profound.
