Lord. Rhenner her Whitney impression just doesn't resonate well.
And it was a good pop album at the time, but in the long run, the songs aren't that impressive.
That's what happens when you blend everything together in 4 years. Nothing tends to stand out.
Ohhhh I totally forgot Skin is on that album. Great song too.

I mean, Miley's first two singles sold the same amount as ALAYLM & BAAB too.
I think that's pretty damn good. Not to mention he would've netted two #1's with Boyfriend & BAAB if the streaming rule was in play like it is now.
His last era was a success. Yes, that album came out in June 2012, but it produced a global smash tour as well.
I can't say what his future albums will do, but I wouldn't count him out.

WB is probably gonna pass 4 million eventually tho. It'll be at 3 million in a few weeks. WCS is at 3 million, too.
His last era was a success, but it was supposed to be THE breakthrough album for him. Like "Born This Way", it was folliowing his massive debut and in comparison to that, it fell quite flat. The fact that he got all the radio support that he did and still couldn't sell half of what the previous album did (which got no radio support) says alot. That album did alot more harm than good for him, and it'll be reflected in this next era just like what happened with Gaga and BTW.

Britney's performances wouldn't be so bad if she had energy and looked like she wanted to be there. I really am not seeing the slayage her fans are whooping about. She has no connection to her audience whatsoever.

I don't think that album did any harm, because it didn't. His public actions that followed that album & while he was on tour FOR that album are what caused all the **** that happened to him this year.
The public behavior of an artist also has a strong effect on their career, and 2013 was the year it really kinda all deteriorated, publicly, for JB.

TTT was good. Unapologetic has Diamonds, Stay, LWT, Nobodys Business, Pour It Up, and Love Song- it's a good album too.
Rated R and GGGB were good from top to bottom, though. Those are her best.
Rihanna is a horrible performer but her discog is shaping up to be THE best.

LOUD was amazing but I agree about how it sounds in the long run. It was always my 2nd fave Rihanna album, but I think Unapologetic might be beating it or already has.
I'll never grow tired of S&M, Only Girl, WMN, Skin, Man Down & Fading though.
