I didn't understand very much of that, but I don't think he said the relationship was just in people's minds. I don't see that in those quotes, anyway. I think if nothing had happened between he and Taylor he would have said so when he slammed her in Rolling Stone. The idea that they are still in communication via songs and emails could be in people's minds, but meh, it's not like he didn't encourage that with his pointed lyrics in Paper Doll.

Well, he did tell Rolling Stone that he was completely shocked and that he'd done nothing to deserve her anger.

I dunno, "I think people are intrigued by two songwriters who have, in people’s minds, this colored history in some way that goes beyond just being songwriters together. People are very intrigued by the idea that these two songwriters will forever be writing songs back and forth to each other." To me that's saying that they don't actually have a colored history together.

Taylor probably got the D once a twice and thought they were going stellar but John was just taking it as another short casual rockstar fling. This is where the difference comes from in their respective perspectives.

Yeah, I think that was probably it. I mean, Taylor played 'Ours' for him so he must have had some idea that she considered their relationship to be more than "just being songwriters together."

Either way, she's better off without him. His career is on the slide, he's massively self-absorbed, and his interviews and music video with Katy are pretty cringeworthy.

Yeahh.... she was pretty damn popular. She did however threaten to sue another band (super emo, edgy) for making and preforming a song named 'Taylor Swift Takes *** Shots'. Believe that if you will. But it caused QUITE the controversy in school haha...

Went to same school as Taylor Swift. Wyomissing Jr.Sr. high. She complains a lot in interviews and is a total drama queen. A friend of mine pushed her into a locker once and won't shut up about it whenever Taylor is mentioned.

also her accent is fake.
