This is what bugs me about Rihanna stans. They boast that their fave has such a solid discography yet if you put all her actual good songs together you'd only get like, an album and a halfs worth of material.

I remember Loud also selling more in the UK than in the US, sometimes they (rightfully) stan so hard for an artist they buy a shitload of copies. Born to Die needs to scan Platinum in the US soon tho, I mean it almost spent 100 weeks inside BB Top 200 and it doesn't even bother to fall or anything. Instead it still rises.

Being Madonna in 2013 is not a viable option today. Madonna's music for the most part is dated and cheesy. How someone who sang a song like ''Jimmy, Jimmy'' and ''Love Makes the World Go Round'' should be respected is beyond me. Not even Disney Girls today would put songs as childish and stupid on their album. It was not until Like A Prayer did she become remotely something to sort of praise. Using someone like Madonna as inspiration is ridiculous and Lady Gaga proves that the Madonna music model is fickle at best and does not work.

I agree Madonna was childish even by album three and pushing 30. Really puts "Roar" in perspective

So true. And her fans think she's considered a legend among the GP, a sort of Mercury or Lennon... and no. She's respected for her long career but she's never reached that status, and judging by her last albums/performances, she never will.

Not to mention she's a clown in the movie world.
