If someone would call my fave ugly (and this has happened millions of times), I would never respond by posting her flattering photos. That would mean that being pretty/ugly is somehow relevant to being a good musician. I think it's a compliment to her artistry when people acknowledge that she's successful even though she's ugly.

I agree. Most of popstars are not ugly anyway. Unless it's Gaga. That one is horrenous.
