I like P!nk and she makes good music. When OP is asking if she's culturally relevant I believe he's referring to the likes of Katy,Gaga & Rihanna and the way society perceives them. Artist that are relevant in news paper and so on. P!nk doesn't seem like an attention starving pop star, she obviously doing it for the music which all artist should be. She is defiantly relevant when it comes to touring and her music which has been numerously proven with her tour/singles/albums receipts But I'm not gonna put it past ATRL to think other wise, most people on this forum seem to think that Instagram followers and a large amount of YouTube views equals impact and iconic status.

"Cultural impact" = Instagram followers, hashtagged tweets, facebook likes. How many people captioned your fave's lyrics in a selfie? Sales are irrelevant (unless my fave outsold yours).

Calling P!nk diet-Madonna isn't exactly fair, she hasn't experimented in anything other than Max Martin pop-rock so that's too much of a compliment.

I never denied that the First Album is iconic, i said it didn't have instant success, it wasn't a breakthough. It also helped that Holiday was released 3 times in the UK and the album was re-released in Europe after Like A Virgin. We were talking about career trajectory so we shouldn't be talking about Madonna pre-breakthrough when Gaga topped charts everywhere with her debut.

Having more Instagram followers, hastagge dtweets and Facebook likes doesn't mean that you are more culturally impactful. It means that you attract more attention. It doesn't mean that you had any impact on the GP's culture itself.
