Yeezy Katie taught me in like, 2011 how to make gifs and she always said to do .mov, and it always worked when I made it that way. I've only tried it with .avi before and it would get all messy in Photoshop.
Oh, I got it. I don't remember who taught me to do them with PS now (between H-I-M, Ainsworth or SupremeGoddess) but he/she said me to always use MP4 cause it was the only supported format on PS. A mess
