I never understood shading Katy for "Unconditionally" flopping/under-performance. After a string of hit singles, one is bound to flop at some point. It's normal. It shouldn't have been UC though, it is the best song on the PRISM.
I'm sure God has better things to do than look after some second single doing meh in sales and radio. Anyways, glad to see Dark Horse getting near 3M updates. Radio and the iTunes buying audience were thirsty for this song. Kii.

You are right it shouldn't be "Unconditionally". It's actually (for me at least) the best song from the album. Sometimes I really don't get the general public. Is it timing? Other factors? For example if she had released "Unconditionally" instead of "roar" as first single? Would it have the same fate?
In a way we should want Unconditionally to drop fast.
Since Capitol decided to go forward with Dark Horse, it gives it more room to smash and more chances for radio to play it. Also the Unconditionally seemed like it stalled on iTunes , it did it's job by selling the album.
