This is it. Nsync and bsb both had 3 successful albums before they broke up and sales started to decline.

Boybands usually do have a 3 album run. I think 2014 will be their peak, they seem to have gotten bigger towards the third album.

If they release a album next year it probably do well because of the tour, the next one after that I don't know. I think they might start losing steam here in America but may still be popular in the U.K. They have no competition at the moment so that is helping them until the girls move on to something else.

This plus there isn't an obvious lead singer, a part from Zayns vocals . I think they're gonna be here for a while. I just wish they get more recognized. MM is a good album especially if you compare it to UAL .


I kinda wanted MM to lean towards the direction of They Don't Know About Us. That song had so much potential. I wish they do some more faux-R&B

Nsync n BSB did peak during their second album. MM needs to surpass the first two especially cos it deserves it.

They have too much momentum for the 4th era to flop. Even if the 5th era completely bombs, at least it's the end of their contract and then they can do whatever they want (assuming the label doesn't try to reel them into another contract and they sign it). I have a feeling they will take a break and pursue solo projects even if the 5th album is just as successful as its predecessors

Their fourth album will definitely debut at #1 in the US. It may not have the same massive sales week as their last two albums, but it'll definitely be enough for the #1.

As for "Midnight Memories", this has a very good shot at going top 10 year-end. The bottom 3 albums (Jay-Z, Mumford & Sons, Blake Shelton) seem quite easy for them to beat. Even if Beyonce makes it into the top 10 as well, there's still two other albums for 1D to take a top 10 spot from. I'd assume Blake is the safest right now as his album's selling the most of the #8-10 albums YTD.

You can't get no bigger than a stadium though. I personally would want them to last longer than most boybands, but we'll have to see. Like I said I can see them still having power in the U.K but here in America we are fickle.
