Yes, Yeezus uses industrial hip hop as a tool but manages to transcend the genre. Lou Reed did a good job of trying to put into words what's so great about it, so I won't really waste my time. But it's so jarring, so unbalancing, but so pop and melodic. One of the most viscerally satisfying albums I've ever heard.
