Belly's career died when Carrie released her debut. She's been flopping since. Carrie has sold more albums, singles, and won far more awards + she's a big touring artist.
Taylor works with Max Martin. She also did pop mixes before collaborating him. Country radio doesn't use her, while Carrie's streak on country radio is incredible:
