No matter how u spin it, these numbers are awful. If Britney is a legend as much as her stans claim she is her name alone should generate more than this. Not to mention the Ellen, Entertainment Tonight interview segments, GMA clip, itunes banner, iheartradio promo, record release party, etc so there was some promo.

Some promo though? I mean, I don't see a televised performance anywhere. Heck, I don't even see a second MV for the era yet.
These numbers are not bad for a girl whose been here fifteen years and outsold every other pop girl since then by VOLUMES when she does not promote (a couple chats and an iTunes banner are not significant promotion). They're only bad knowing that she could have tripled them with the right promotion and a better lead single choice.
I mean, we've accepted that she's lazy and will sell less because of it; that is a legitimate explanation, too, not just an excuse. We know she needs to actually promote for bigger numbers.
