That is true and I love gifts, but the overall concept behind it is stupid. There shouldn't be a day denoted to showing someone how much you love and care for them. That **** should happen every day and come naturally. I want my man to send me flowers because it's Tuesday or just to make me smile, not because it's Valentine's Day. It's expected then.

When I actually have a Valentine I tell them I don't want anything. The most I'll do is cook dinner with that person and just stay in and watch movies.

I hate that some women feel like it's just about them too and it's the opportunity for their men to shower them with gifts. If you're going to celebrate it, he deserves something too bitch.

I'm playing. I'm just trying something new and so far I have no complaints. He calls me every single morning to tell me "Good morning" and every single night to tell me "Good night". He's been bringing me Starbucks and snacks while I study for finals. When I'm sick he comes over and we watch Disney movies together. WE'RE JUST FRIENDS THOUGH! I don't know how his family will deal with it, which is why I'm skeptical.
