Lets face it...
During The Fame and The Fame Monster, she had the "straight" crowd, she had the "hipster" crowd, she had the "indie" crowd, she had everyone! And that's why BTW sold so much. But she has alienated all of them with the singles off BTW and now ARTPOP. And that's ok, expectations just need to be lowered, that's all.

girl gone, the monsters and gaga herself put her on this pedestal that she was untouchable, most of the monsters DRAGGED katys opening numbers even though she did 100k more then her last album & now shes going to be opening with around the same amount of numbers & multiple stan bases can co-sign that the monsters would always drag other artists (ke$ha, britney, nicki) just to say a few.
Gagas numbers aint bad, for an artist to be able to sell anything above 100k aint bad. the only reason people are dragging is cause gaga, her fanbase gave them a reason to & gaga herself too.

She lost them at TFM even tho the music was better but she got a little too weird then

The album has a 60s rating on Metacritic and is considered one of the biggest disasters by multiple publications.
The music is generic as ****, the production is muddy, and her vocals show no improvement from BTW. I'm sorry, but this album is actually terrible.

What a glam moment to be alive! funny how "critics" don't matter when their fav experiences a not so good result or first week sales don't matter when they dragged other fanbases for a long time for deflated first week sales now it suddenly don't matter to them

its hard to pinpoint every member who dragged weeks ago but the general and getting high with theirselves acting as the superior one were the monsters. so...... its clear why everyone are dragging the monsters now.

You can have the biggest fanbase ever but the GP will always remain bigger
