Actually I think I got another interpretation of the song and why she wanted us to focus on the
"Go to Mimi in your contacts and press delete." It's her way of saying that she's leaving Mimi behind(and everything else that she implied) and is moving forward into a new stage.

But Mariah is a 40 year old woman iHype. Besides the uptempo bops always seemed like a label heads idea. The album she debateably had the most control in Charmbracelet are pretty much all slow jams.

It's growing on me with every listen.

At first I felt like something was missing. Idk, I think the instrumental could have been more powerful. But I guess Mariah's vocals really shine on this. It reminded me a bit of Vanishing

I'm pretty satisfied with the song. It's just that I really wanted her to slay and I'm not sure if I can see it happening with this song. It's been a good year for ballads though, so maybe there's a chance, but hmm idk.

I can't say that i wasn't a little disappointed on the first listen but now that i've played it two or three times i'm starting to like it more

The vocals are great and the last minute slays

The main problem is that the chorus never hits you
