I think Beyonce is going to bring it hard with her next album. As long as she stays away from the tools who produced Britney's and Gaga's stuff, it will slay (quality wise).

That's irrelevant to the GP. They won't choose to check for artists, especially ones who are struggling with relevancy a bit. Artists need to go to them. Beyonce's vocal talent gets so much exposure that she is undeniably seen as the voice of this generation. Beyonce may have undeniably snatch Britney's title as a great performer, but Britney has her legacy as a pop culture figure and her past teen career that gets blue-printed all the time to fall back on, so she does not get erased. Just look around in pop culture and music, you see more of Britney in it than Christina. If you can't see that then you obviously are either pressed or don't know what a legacy is, which wouldn't surprise me because you did say Pitbull has one.
Britney is a nostalgia act, thought of in the same sentence as that pedophilic purple dinosaur and Sabrina The Teenage Witch. No ifs, buts or maybes. The contribution Britney has made is of a dumbed down pop star, who's aim in their career to get cheap bucks through provocative clothing and talent. I dont rate Madonna at all but i acknowladge she had a huge amount of talent to turn a lack of vocals into something extraordinary.
But please, don't dumb down Christina's abilities to suit your own. When anyone thinks of a "vocal diva", its Whitney. Mariah. Celine (). Christina. Beyonce. Adele. Maybe Kelly Clark. Beyonce is the more all rounder but Christina is the vocalist everyone wants to compete against or beat. That's it.

She doesn't need to, she's established herself as a B/C-list artist already. At the moment, she's resting her vocal chords (dumb bitch) and embarking on a tour in the next few months.
I don't really know why people are expecting Beyonce to slay. If she actually had hit worthy songs and a smash album, they would have released it already.
