I warmed up to The Monster but it's still a lazy hit and Em's verses have been done so many times before.

Love Game lyrical content has also been done before, the crazy misogyny and all, but both rappers can still make it fun and their flows are out of the world.

I'm on second listen so I won't say anything yet but it's a nice album even if the first half is very one note and there are some real clunkers like As-shole and Legacy just doesn't work.

The Monster is easily the type of song I get tired of as soon as the GP picks it up so it won't have longevity for me.
Kendrick's flow fits the song so good, it's really refreshing.
I'm wondering tho if Em had that much samples in his songs before or is it just a current trend? I mostly know Kanye already did it with Dark Fantasy and Yeezus and he rocked them but I didn't connect it with Em.
