Discussion: Have you ever dragged a teacher?

I had it with my asian math teacher. I have nothing against asians at all, but this woman with her thick accent and horrible teaching skill pushed me to the limit. She moved my seat three times and just didn't like me. Always picked on me. So one day she wrote a question on the board and got it wrong herself and asked us how to fix it. She said "Does anyone know how to answer?" I say "You should you're teaching us." She said "Excuse me?" I said "You heard me." She says "Chris 5 points off your average." I say, "You know what, take them off I don't give two *****. **** you and your asian ass accent." and I left. My mom came in and she told my mom what I did and my mom told me, "Good job." and we told the assistant principal and now I'm in a better class.
OH AND I FLIPPED THE BIRD AT HER WHEN I LEFT. HA.

She quit at the end of the year.

Now in high school, I don't really "drag" but I call them out when they are being unfair.
But in gr 8, I was ruthless.
My English teacher in 8th grade said she was going to call my mom because I stole chocolate milk from the cafeteria ( ).. she always used to pick on me, even before this. I didn't like her AT ALL. I was so pissed that day, I forget why. But I remember saying "MY MOM DOESN'T LIKE YOU!!!!!!!! HOLY YOU'RE SO ANNOYING!!" and then she goes "WHAT?! Your mother LOVES ME!!". I remember my friends laughing during this time too. Then I was like "NO SHE DOESN'T. STOP STALKING ME YOU RAT" (she looked like a rat, really.) Then I went home.

Yes.
Because my fat, bald, ugly, stupid Chemistry teacher is an absolute horror to my school. He has repeated multiple times that he loves to see kids fail, and fall below what their standards are. He also constantly tries to be "funny" by giving sarcastic answers when we ask a question, such as saying "I don't know" or "Sure" when that does not come remotely close to a valid answer.
Basically I told him that he's a worthless teacher that needs to retire cause he obviously has no ***** to give about us anymore. I said it a lot more respectfully, but I was about to blow up on him.

Some of you say "the teacher is supposed to teach. that's it" but the students have to pay attention in order for them to teach.
From where I am, students flip **** over things that they start themselves. The teachers are dedicated, and want the kids to learn what they teach. If one kid talks a lot, the teacher then tells them to pay attention, and then all hell breaks loose.
So kids just want to act like hot ****, and impress the other kids. But honestly, that's not going to get you anywhere. If you get written up for acting stupid, you'll have to live with it.
I understand a few situations here, but a lot of you went off for no good reason and it's irritating.

Yes. kind of. I was in a typical catholic school and a teacher who isn't even an art or drawing teacher said we had to colour in something, nothing special. But I did something too over the top and coloured outside of the illustration and did my own thing with it. so when she said it was bad, and not what she asked, I said
"of course you don't like it. you don't get it. It's ART".
i also got thrown out of class a lot.
I was young..
but later in HS it got really interesting.. my entire class smoked weed and we drank vodka during breaks. sometimes even with our art teacher (who showed us in bed with madonna and andy warhol movies ) but we hated the teacher that gave catholic lessons, so we always turned all our seats/chairs (sometimes for a very long time) so our backs were aimed at him. he couldn't discipline us. but that was more of a class thing against one teacher, not a real drag by just myself.

I take a few of these "stories" with a grain of salt. I've met people from my school where they could complain about a certain teacher but they have 0 basis for the whining. Some teachers are bad and some probably deserve to be yelled at during class if they go pass the line, but some of the general attitudes here about teachers is a bit dismal. I'm assuming everyone talking here is from the US and overall we have a very relaxed view on education in the US. We are behind other countries in education for a reason and I believe one of those reasons is because we just don't care much about it in the first place.
Most teachers (hopefully) are there to help their students learn and think critically and they should be given the respect even if they are a complete ass sometimes. You wouldn't talk smack to your future boss would you? (If you say yes ) So why should you talk smack to your teacher who for the most part wants the best for the class.
If the teacher is not here for the class however that is a different story and even then you should not curse the teacher out.

I agree that some teachers can be very rude, even though I've never encountered one that made us feel like ****. I wouldn't curse a teacher out unless they ACTUALLY disrespected me, like personal **** such as my sexuality or race or something. Some people on this thread dragged a teacher PERSONALLY (based on how they look, dress, etc) just because they commented on how they don't do their work. It's stupid, because they don't have time for that ****, and have to be getting back to the lesson and helping the kids (that want to learn) out.
