I did some research and BENI flopped with her latest album, too. Let's not forget tho that CK is still twice, if not three-times as successful as her supposedly "best" friend. Plus, she actually left a remarkable footprint on japanese pop culture. I don't think Covers3 will nowhere near do as well as the first two did.

You might not realize this if you only do pop, but this has become a thing for a lot of artists in general. Labels simply don't dish out budgets like they used to.
