Katy is safe. The opposite of Madonna. I think it's safe to say at this point that Rihanna is the closest. She is a hitmaker who isn't musically redundant (like her peers Katy, Gaga, Beyonce, Britney) and adapts to the time. She has re-invented herself several times already though she has been era-less since Loud.

That's what I was thinking, but she reinvents herself too often because she isnt half as interesting as Madonna was to the GP. She couldn't take a two year album break like Madonne or Gags

@Allstar, I don't love Aura, still think the chorus is superb but that's about it. & I've had Do What U Want on repeat all day The concept of the lyrics is fun, semi-generic but have interesting elements nonetheless

Also comparing her output to what the rest is releasing makes everything look x10 better
