I heard the lotus mention too haha. I don't think any of what you said is true though, it is quite a stretch. I just think it's the next stage in her maturing career.

Yeah but look at the visuuals alone, it looked like lotuus with a better budget.

I hear some similarities in Prism to Lotus, moreso like the theme and stuff. But it's just something I noticed, nothing major.
X is such a legend. I need her to perform at big events more. Like We Remain at the AMA's or someplace to get her more acclaim and recognition for her status.
I'm still waiting for a performance of We Remain on the Voice. And as much as I love hearing her singing pieces of songs on the show during rehearsals, I can't help but think that it comes off a little pretentious and arrogant to the general public watching.

When it comes to lyrics, I completely agree. I definitely see some parallels. Musically, Prism has more of a European pop sound, while a majority of Lotus has more of a tribal, militant sound to it (at least the Alex Da Kid tracks did to me).

I could never be like that, but I thought it was commendable how ultra positive you were about everything. Yeah, she does mention a Lotus in one of her songs. I get what you're thinking, but I think maybe it might be a coincidence in this case. Lotus and Prism are both albums dealing with the aftermath of personal troubles (and they even share a common thread with them bith having had divorces)/fresh starts, so it makes sense that there will be lyrical similarities
If there's anyone whose similarities suddenly seem striking to Christina, it's Lady Gaga. I know there have been comparisons before, but I don't know, it just kind of dawned on me, how weird it is that Christina had major connections to Cher, Elton John, and Tony Bennett, and then Gaga suddenly followed suite. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it's not like those three are typical connections for popstars.
