Imma say yes just because GaGa stans are so hyped/excited for it (and I'm happy that theire thirst r about to be quenched) and I don't want to bash artists just because what they release are different from my fave's style...Artists should be different...I'm just happy Katy released this record for Kats to enjoy too. 3 months ago I would have unhesitatingly said yeah, Artpop will be miles better than Prism however I have taken off my rose coloured glasses when it comes to Gaga and I feel like Roar is the superior pop song to Applause. That being said I don't know what Artpop sounds like in it's entirety and I haven't gotton properly acquainted with Prism yet, my guess would be that I will end up liking Artpop more purely from the itunes festival sneak peek.
Prism will probably have a few better songs but Artpop will probably be the better album as a whole. To be honest everyone needs to stop whining about what albums are better than others and be happy that we are getting so much fabulous new music this year.
I know we're all entitled to our opinions but you should be punished for thinking Roar is better than Applause.
Roar is easily the WORST song on Prism and deserves to be a bonus track or Teenage Dream REJECT.
