Since I'm working as an English teacher, I usually use the /r/ and /k/ sounds in English to pronounce some words (/r/ as in computer and /k/ as in key), and it gets even more difficult when both sounds appear in a single word. Such is the case of
quarante.
Learning the feminine and masculine form of the nouns has not been much of a problem to me, though. After all, my native language, Spanish, also has that.
