There's some idea going around that Applause and Venus will lose digital sales when the Complete My Album feature is used on November 8 (Australia, Germany) 11 (Worldwide) . I have never heard of such a ruling being used by Billboard .

This always happens with albums put on preorders but I think with ARTPOP's case is going to be even bigger cause we never got a single version, so if all the persons that bought Applause buy the album from iTunes we will have 0 sales from Applause

A lot of people have cancelled their order over this so-called rule which sounds ridiculous to me. I'ma need Bill to confirm.

I have yet to see someone's single sales decrease on a Billboard update
