Every essay was great and you guys went in depth with your explanation. You showed why you deserve to come this far, but unfortunately many of you overlooked the 'to you' part of the challenge. It was meant to be more personal. What the song means to you, how you can relate to it, how it affects you..

Pay more attention to what the challenge is asking you, especially while writing the essay, because for me it is as equally important as the song you're sending in. See how a little thing like 'to you' cost you many points

Is it even possible for Selena to survive next round?
It is. Since we are on top 10 I think a little change in the points distribution won't hurt but the differences won't be that much. Last season I changed them a lot and it ended up being unfair to whoever was consistent throughout the entire game.
