She's working on her next album. She is doing alot of writing which is a good sign that Conceptnet is back. She's hinted that it won't be another uninspired trying to be sex kitten album like her last 4 which is a good thing. Glad she didnt retire like speculated. Like Nicole said, she really has nothing to lose so why not release?
She hasn't put out a great album since The Velvet Rope, and she alienated her fans and ultimately ruined her brand by trying to keep up with the younger crowd with her music/look in the 00s so it's good she's finally gotten the memo and putting that persona to rest.
