Those were completely different circumstances. For one she came off a massively successful album, she had high publicity, she still had tons of fans, she was banned from Clear Channel. What does this era have that the Britney era has? Not much. People buy her music when she has publicity, good or bad. Britney hasn't captured publicity that aims at her music, but at her tour. Regardless, the album comes out in two months.
