Like, I understand that the whole "anti-pop" thing is pretentious and it makes it look bad especially with them saying they only allowed her to use the track so they could make money out of it. But the truth is, music is a business whether you have artist integrity or not. They have to make money so they can do the things they want to do and it's a smart investment. Pretentious or not, they were smart to take the deal.
And they even said in the interview they respect that someone of Gaga's level liked their track and they praised her for that. They could have said worse things.
