but i don't think that we going to be with just 70 new pokemon.....we are now with 42 confimed new pokemon , and i don't count the mega evolution although it can also be counted as a new pokemon evoltuions....there will be at least 10 legendary pokemon , and what about the evolutions....
i think we going to get 95-110 new pokemon.....

I don't think the Mega Evolutions are counted. Well the guy who leaked Greninja and that Fighting bird a few days ago said it that Xerneas and Yvaltan are around 715

so what is the point of this generation?
it's gonna be a really boring game , the fun in new pokemon's game is the new pokemon in it ,
the mega evolution i think took all the attention away from the new pokemon and something we really don't need in this game , they better release at least 100 new pokemon like they always do....
and if Xrenesa and Yvetal are around 715 it says that we actually will get only 65 new pokemon and it's nothing at all , i wait 3 years for this generation

Not for me. BW had the most new Pokemon but were the most boring games

i hope the one that leaks the game is fake , and the number there will be 800 pokemon in the dex

Why would we want lots of new pokemon? There are already 650 of them ffs. What we need now is good damn games, with good length, story, graphics and game-play.

edit: I'm pretty sure back at E3 someone said there were about 70ish new pokemon, am I wrong? Why are people acting surprised now!

I doubt it will at this point. They have to think about the future of the franchise and it's impossible to go on to thousands of Pokémon.

They just f*cked up with the generation 5 Pokémon. Most of them were not needed and especially not 150 new Pokémon for a two year lasting generation

i wonder why they didn't do 150 pokemons every generation untill now....
i hope this generation won't last very long if its that small.....
because the last small generation (Gen 4) was four years that last forever with no reason.....and the last generation was the biggest generation in the series and last only two years

Gen I - 151 Pokemons
Gen II - 100 Pokemons
Gen III - 135 Pokemons
Gen IV - 107 Pokemons
Gen V - 156 Pokemons

I Don't think Gen VI will have 70+ Pokemons it sound very small amount....

I think thes gen will last 3 to 4 years, with remakes and the 3rd game From what i've seen so far it looks amazing and one of the leakers stated that it is the best Pokemon game he has ever played. And even tho a bigger number of Pokemon would be nice, they don't make a game bad (look at BW for example)

it really look like the best pokemon game we had so far....
still don't think it's gonna be only 70-80 new pokemon but we'll see
i believe the full generation will be out by the weekend

I would be here for X/Y this year, RSE remakes next year, X2 & Y2 in 2015 and a game about a new region etc. with already existing Pokémon in 2016
