Ok, I try to explain.

first I don't want to take anything away from Madonna and her immense rank in the pop culture.

But I'm quite old, and I have seen many legendary artists coming.

Just one for example, Kurt Cobain, when he became well known what do you think was the reaction of the fans of the Pixies, Hüsker Dü, or many other legendary alternative acts? Oh he is not so good.

Now he is in the Pantheon of the likes of Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrison etc.

What I'm saying is, I see a lots of potential for Lorde and I'm seeing a lot of hate, good for her and
for her further career.
