Bye Bye was and will always be pure TRAAAAASH and it pisses me off she killed the EMC2 era with that bomb single and halting all promotion while we waited to see if she really married Nick Cannon (which was unbelievable at that time) it should have been

1) Touch My Body
2) I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time
3) Migrate (feat. T-Pain)
4) I'm That Chick

and then whatever the hell they wanted, that could have EASILY been four back to back #1's or top 10s at the very least and then she could keep dating Nick quietly and then more pronounced and then gotten married. The fact that she did it out of nowhere and so early into them meeting made everyone feel like it was some desperate stunt, of course people know it isn't now but for her career that would have been the best way to do it. Then she could have taken a break, had the kids and then come back with another smash album but her career declined just like post Glitter again.

All though not nearly as back because TEOM has forever seeled Mariah as a legend so no one can make fun of her for flopping at this point cause she's already respected (in that aspect at least)

We've only got some memories of that era and that's the exhausted, overworked Mariah. But we only witnessed those few months. She really put a lot of work into it, probably moreso than any of her other albums.

I never listen to "Babydoll" or the last three tracks on Butterfly

The ones I play back-to-back: Daydream, Music Box, E=MC2, and Memoirs, which really is best when played all the way through (as some of y'all have said).

MC is close but I never listen to SFUA or TGTBAW. TGTBAW is just too corny.
