I mean on one hand you're rubbing harming chemicals all over your body and on the other you're exposing yourself to the sun's UV rays which could cause the proteins in your body to denature and free radicals (which causes Melanoma).

You can bleach your skin naturally with Milk and tons of oter natural stuff. It just doesn't work as quickly which is why people use chemicals.
