in my opinion people are tired of all these talent shows , and xfactor considering that is new but with nothing really exciting to offer is the one is suffering the most
well I think the numbers trough the season are gonna be flowing from 5 - 6 million views and 1.5 - 2.0 rating. the question is gonna be if it's enough for FOX. It's not a big channel (SYTYCD had a 1.4 and 4 million views on the final and got renewed) and they saved a lot of money this season comparing to season 2. so it may be ok for them. when asked if he would return to american idol in case x factor got axed, simon said he didn't see any of this possibilities happening, so we'll see.
if the show gets a fourth season, with the same panel (showing some stability for a change), I can see it doing better than season 3
It's too early to tell for the talent. I think its quite promising however. People like Jeffery Adam Gutt, Rachel Potter, Ellona, etc should make it a good show.

anyway, I hope you're right and the show gets a 4th season, I really love XF, and this show turned me into a lovatic. and I'm sure I wasn't the only one who started to love demi after she became a judge.

And I like Elonna. Loved her when she was in inTENsity. She stood out the most from the group. Hopefully she won't flop on the show like her old bandmate did last season.

The Promos made Paulina look interesting but she seriously adds nothing to the panel, the auditions on the day she was absent were just the same (if not better) She's even worse than Britney.
And I'm scared for the ratings, next week The Big Bang Theory is back (last season opened with 15.66 million)
