If v is true, then it is right that "The LORDe/Lorde" is classified as a nickname too. The nickname rule has too many holes in it in the first place.

I still fail to see how adding "the" to somebody's name doesn't fall under the "Honorary Nicknames" rule. It's not a merging of the name - "Lorde" and "Lord" are homophones.

I can see if maybe "Lorde" was pronounced different from "Lord", but they aren't.

There is no "mangling" of her name happening, as stated in the rules.
