Exactly. I'm starting to notice it more and more since Miley became such a phenomenon.
It's as if white girls nowadays WANT to be "ratchet" or "ghetto" only on Twitter and Vine of course, but the desire to be "stereotypically black" is there.
I guess it's easy to be ooc when the security blanket is that you can always go back to "normal."
Things will never change. Ofc white people will exploit cultures whenever they feel necessary and you can't question that. Its even worse now with black men cosigning.

I feel like (and don't shoot me) black people perpetuate the "white world" and how they view the typical African American male or female. Just look at most of the vine-famous blacks. They degrade themselves and their culture for white appreciation.

I will never understand why they crave to act "black", but it doesn't surprise me. Blacks have always been the innovators throughout history, and the first ones to cling onto it are whites.

And that's why a lot of them see a backlash. You see Nicki running back to hip hop again.
Why would X dislike Brit? X knows she's superior to her in every way, and Britney even agrees, and wishes she was her (that's from her own mouth before she became practically brain dead). So there's no point.
Knee and Gaga are kinda in the same boat. Both came off an era that tarnished their brand despite decent single success, and it really shows in the first week sells. Both had phenomenal openings with their previous lead single as well.
FatteFemale didn't tarnish Britney. If anything it helped because it gave her some of the biggest hits of her career.
