Cycle 5. I got banned during it and I think I made it to 7th place or something.
3. Out of all of the ATRL members, what makes you a TOP MEMBER?
Now, I know that I was an extreme mess prior to my ban. Now, I have grown up, matured, become less messy (though I still have my moments just for some cheap giggles,) and have already started to rebuild my following on the site. As much as all these other applicants would like to say they're a top member, the real test is time. After a nearly 19-month ban from the forum, I came back to people welcoming me back with open arms, members remembering me and my history, while also building friendships with people who had only heard of my presence without experiencing it for themselves. As for my legacy, I am widely known for the iconic, naughty and controversial Dirty Talk blog. Though it wasn't an original idea, it is the most commented and viewed blog on the whole site after just over a year. When will the others make such an impact? As for being a leader, I personally feel like somewhat of a leader for the Games section. If I had to pick a section on the site to live in for the rest of my "ATRL life", it would definitely be here because this is basically my home already. Though I haven't made a big tournament, my album and personal survivors are both stylish and well-received. They perform decently and also get a nice amount of votes per round, while moving in a speedy pace to keep people coming back. My Singles' MC game is one of the biggest of it's kind with over 100,000 views. It was the #2 most-viewed MC series prior to me leaving and has since only dropped to #4, showing that its legacy is hard to beat after such a long time. Now, think about this: I placed in the top 7 in Cycle 5 and got banned.. I potentially could've gone on to win the whole thing. So now that I've cleaned up my act, how high can I go now? Only to the top. I'm a nice, relateable, down-to-earth, shady, fun, sarcastic, silly, loyal person who can be a great friend and an even better top member.

Looking back on my experience on Cycle 8, I went over my entries and realized that back then, I truly was not ready and did not have the tools necessary within me to become a Top Member. Two cycles and many months later, I feel that now, I am truly ready.
I have confidence within me; I am not afraid to speak my mind and let my opinion be heard. I have the knowledge of what it takes to be a Top Member, and how to achieve my goals. And, I have the desire to win. The desire to receive the title of Top Member, and the desire to try and help make ATRL the best site it can possibly be. That, is what I feel truly makes me a Top Member.

What makes me a top member? Well, I'm classy-messy, kinda like boug-ghetto. The point is, I can still add humor and the occasional messy-funny moments without getting warned. I mean, out of all the new members, I'm probably one of the few who hasn't been banned. Being a new member with only one warning point should say something.
Another thing is, a Top Member should be involved in various aspects of ATRL. Many members are just here for the messiness that occurs in SYG, Base, and other various threads. Since only being here for a month, I have had my input in HQ, PYP, some of the Blogs, the Games section, and the occasional messy threads. Also, Top Members are those who stand out in particular sections of ATRL. Save-Me-Oprah, is a prime example of a Top Member, mainly with her contribution in HQ, and giving life in other threads.
Getting back to my one warning point, a top member should not be known for getting warnings 24/7. Be yourself, but just be careful. A Top Member should be able to have those messy posts once in awhile, but not have it come to the point where you have pages of warnings.
A Top Member should also be known to guests that lurk. While I was a guest, I was able to spot Top Members instantly. Examples include, Kitt and borntodie. I looked up to them, and still do. They are prime examples of a Top Member.
One last thing, you don't have to be Newbery Medal material, but at least be literate.
And that is why I should be considered to be one of ATRL's Top Members.

A top member has to have something that makes them stand out, right? What makes me stand out is my unique creativity and persona. There is rarely ever a predictable moment when it comes to me.
I also leave lasting impressions on any game I participate in, and I am great for ratings.

Yeah. I participated in Cycle 5 and Cycle 8. I was last place in Cycle 5, against my husband at the time remeese. I had a huge meltdown and he divorced me right after but that was right before I had taken my 8 month hiatus from the site. I also participate in Cycle 8, and placed 12th, and well, the rest is history because that cycle I was known for having meltdowns. I wanted to due better than all my enemies that had signed up and then when I ended up placing lower than most of them and then when one of my enemies won, I went berzerk. So yeah, that's my history with this game.

What makes me a TOP MEMBER is that you really can't expect anything from me. I'm not gonna be a meltdown king all the time, but I'm also not a perfect little angel. I never was one, never will be. And what also makes me a TOP MEMBER is that I'm not afraid to speak my mind, even if a member doesn't like it. No matter how controversial I am on this site, no one can deny that I've never been afraid to put my voice out there. And at the end of the day, I know the amount of potential I have to submit great entries for this game and I promise that if I'm selected for Cycle 10, I will put my effort into making it worthwhile.

I believe that I try hard enough to be respectful and kind to nearly all members. I have and have always had a deep interest in pop music and through that interest came to love all of the pop stars that are favorites on ATRL. I've been here for a year and a half now and I think that I have been able to make a lot of friends and get along well with all members, and I'm steadily trying to become more active in ATRL's community. Basically, I'm hoping to kill y'all with kindness!

I like to think I am a mixture of shady but nice, independent but relatable and funny all at the same time. Most members are just one or two of these, but I am all of them.
I'm fabulous because I keep it real and I'm funny. I'm shady because it comes to me naturally and not a try hard like many others. I'm artistic because I write songs, produce music and dance. But that's not really relevant here. I'm bubbly because I don't like drama much and I always prefer being the comedic relief. I'm consistent because I'm always punctual and I'm friendly because I like everyone to feel included and if someone doesn't feel a part of the "group" I'll go out of my way to make sure they feel included. And I'm classy because I don't have nudes and WP's come sparingly with me.
I am also here to redeem myself and show everyone I am a true top member.

I think that I can be a top member because I can be funny and I usually am in good relations with everyone . I am also a huge fan of the games section and found my bffs here. I'm trying to push boundaries and make Pokémon related threads in every section, until the moderators allow us to have our own official Base (which are only allowed for real people at this point).
I'm the front runner in making ATRL more about pop culture franchises in general, instead of just pop music

This portion has made me think quite a bit about what is a Top Member?
I am a top member because I am still standing (typing really) on this site after 2.5 years. Through my time in the first cycle I competed in to now, I've been interacting by join date longer then most of my other competitors. I've gone through ATRL dramas and is still left posting here. I am an avid resource for getting people connected (as I got a certain Oprah to join) and wanting people to connect especially what makes this game unique on ATRL. Also accepting being a member of the internet, I am a top member since i accept that I'm a creep on the internet That in itself is something most won't own up to, but admitting & owning up to being an internet creep who loves Pop Music is what makes me a Top Member of ATRL (PS. if you need references, please defer to any blogs made about me)

I may be new around here (it's been a little over 6 months, so I'm nearing elderly status ), but I feel as if I would be considered a Top Member because I've competed in many high quality games/tournaments that aim at creating better ATRL members. From Charm School where I had to show I could go from a mess to complete class to Big Brother where I had to figure out where (and where NOT to) put my trust in others. I feel like these qualities I've acquired would make me a shoe-in for the competition.
