Roar is genuinely awful, the worst and most cringeworthy saccharine song of the year. Katy probably thought it'd be her 'live to tell' and show a more mature side to her, but it does the complete opposite.
Also she keeps saying she's listening to disclosure and alunageorge and taking inspiration but by the things we've heard so far she clearly isn't taking notes in both the songwriting and production department...
Hun at least Lady Gaga served us with a song where she actually sings, with a melody and where you can differentiate the verses and the bridge from the chorus, which are melt down in one gigantic mess in work bitch.
Her people/collaborators talk utter ****. Each album she's supposedly back and better than ever, ready to slay, great choreography, great vocals, Blackout 2.0 etc. etc. etc.

this is the first Brinty song I have loved since I don't know when. It will be a MONSTER in the clubs! It has great potential for Europe, she just needs to promote it this time.

Where is the chorus? Where is the hook? Scream & Shout was garbage, but it was catchy garbage. I listened to Work Bitch twice and I can't recall a single lyric other than the title.
