I like the Bangerz cover too. I get a real eighties vibe from it, which is pretty much always a good thing in my book, and I think Miley looks very pretty on it.

I believe her album cover was originally intended to feature lots of gold body paint, but of course that shoot's images ended up being used in C'Mon's single artwork and live performances instead.

Maybe not very 'Warrior-ish' but like you said, it's very striking. I would pick that up in a shop, if that was an artist I didn't know. Would have been great!

I concur. Ahh, hopefully her next album's cover will be a little better. I guess neither Animal nor Cannibal had anything too fantastic either, so maybe my expectations were just the most subatomic bit too high.
I used to strongly dislike the Warrior cover but it grew on me, it wasn't the right choice but it's not bad enough that people didn't care to buy the album
