I just got back from seeing her at the LA County Fair, and damn, she was good. I wasn't expecting her to top some of the rock or pop shows I've been to the past year, but she did. It's clear to me now more than ever that she excels in the direction she wants to take her music.
With that said, I hated the fact that she skipped out on Take it Off, Last Goodbye (if she still plays it in North America) Supernatural, and really saddened by this one - Machine Gun Love. She didn't talk to us about the reality show or anything really. The crowd however still reacted positively towards her. Many tickets are given for free at these festivals (about 500 I believe, myself included) and I got a lot of positive feedback from people that were initially there just because it was a free show. Many pointed out all the rock infused songs saying they were shocked at how good they were & I overheard a girl say:
