the verses are too playful, I agree
that anthemic chorus deserved much better and dare I say, darker production on the verses
Roar is so massive that I'm worried 2nd single will have to fight hard for its #1
I Kissed A Girl was huge and Hot N Cold did just fine
California Gurls was huge and Teenage Dream did just fine
Firework was huge and E.T. did just fine
Something in me thinks Unconditionally is gonna be the next single.
maybe because it's giving me the td singles arrangement teas, Cali gurls is Roar and Unconditionally could be the TD of this era but bigger
