I believe so. I've read numerous of stories where people went through a user's entire post history and they would get warned for posts they made months ago.

TBH I accidentally reported an old post once and the mods told me if I did it again I would get a WP (overreacting mods tbh).


Sometimes they might accidentally approve one, but I think it is frowned upon.

What is the point of warning an old post though? The purpose of the WP system is to stop current rule breaking. If it wasn't offensive/important/noticeable enough for someone to report it then it seems like a waste of the mods time to worry about it weeks or months later.

We try not to warn old posts, and yes we warn people who go through someone's history in order to get them banned.
