Ariana's music is basically her singing about a boy over a bunch of Mariah/90s/00s-inspired beats. It's cute, but not ambitious enough for the contemporary R&B/pop stuff that has been getting buzz. She needs to take a page out of Elle Varner's book for a quality album. B-
