I think it was the dumbest thing they've done. I love the song and don't care about the commercial aspect, but at the same time....after listening to the radio yesterday I realized how out of place Applause is (if I heard it on the radio). I agree about Sex Dreams.
But Applause is still infectious for me. An accurate representation of ARTPOP though? Not at all.
and yes i see them all the time now and look like trolls ! i stay blasting applause while i walk past them !
