Basically. Although the boy band stigma will always haunt them until ten years from now when the new generation are listening to the new "it" boy band and people in their twenties will say how much the new group don't compare to 1D etc from nostalgia. Much like how people react to BSB/NSYNC now with 1D being the current group.
