I hate when people say that 1D aren't a boyband because they don't dance, but also say they're not a band because they don't play instruments. Like wtf do you consider them then?
Do you guys consider them a boyband?

Her magnum opus is "Youth". Check it out when you have the chance.

I have to wonder why the bonus tracks are usually better than majority of the standard tracks with One Direction. Do they do this on purpose (like a present to the fans) or are they just really bad at choosing standard tracks?

I consider them a "boyband", but I also refer to them as a "group".
They're not a "band", because they don't really play instruments (Niall plays guitar, Louis plays piano, Liam sorta plays both) but yeah, they're not really a "band".
You don't have to dance to be a boyband, at least not in my mind.

Ok. Thanks. I'll check it out.
And eww. I think they've done a pretty good job with separating what is worthy of being on the standard edition and what is just so extra that it is only worthy of being a bonus track.

TBH people always say that, but the rate showed that most people like one or two bonus tracks.... then hate the rest. The albums had WAY higher average scores.

Yeah I agree with you. It annoys the **** out of me when people say they're not a boyband cause they don't dance.
If Niall played guitar in every single studio track and Louis piano then maybe I'd consider them a band.

Up All Night:
"Stand Up", "Moments", "Another World", "Na Na Na", "I Should Have Kissed You".
Take Me Home:
"She's Not Afraid", "Loved You First", "Nobody Compares", "Still the One",
"Truly, Madly, Deeply", "Magic", "Irresistible".
The bolded are the songs I think are better than majority of their respective albums.

Discussion Question
The boys said in a recent interview with Tyler Oakley that if they could choose a song that wasn't released as a single and they could have released it as a single they would choose C'Mon C'Mon or Last First Kiss. Do you agree with them? If not, what are a couple of songs you would've liked to see released as a single?
They also said they would've liked More Than This to be more successful if they had the choice

Stand Up was a bonus track?? That is one song that could've fit on the standard edition.

"C'mon C'mon" would have been a perfect single.

Yeah, "Stand Up" was a 'limited yearbook edition bonus track'.

C'mon C'mon is a cute song, but do you really think it would've seen success on the charts?
And wow I had no idea. This whole time I thought it was on the standard.

I think the fusion of dance-pop/pop-rock would have really benefited them.
It would have been a fresh sound from them on the radio but kept their signature elements.

Unlikely.
However. It probably would not have done well.
