Janelle's album is gorgeous; a perfect 70's funk/soul mashup. And it ***** all over that overrated heap of dog feces that was her second album.

I loved the artwork, but haven't had the time to heart it yet.
Q.U.E.E.R. sucked, and the other single was forgettable. But I'm sure it's worth a listen.

Yeah, that's why I asked. I feel strangely about Janelle Monáe. I like her look. I like her vibe. I listened to "The ArchAndroid" a long while ago and the record was very artistic and expressive. I didn't
not like it, but the album didn't really
grab me. (I don't really understand the
immense critical praise for it, but I do feel it deserves to have positive reviews). I wasn't feelin' "Q.U.E.E.N." either, with the exception of Erykah Badu and Monáe's rap at the end of the track. I want to like Janelle more, but something just isn't quite taking. It's like, you can tell me "Breaking Bad" is fantastically superb all you want, but I'm still just not interested, even though I believe you. That's how I feel about Janelle Monáe.
I think I still may give "The Electric Lady" a listen. We'll see.
